Traversing the Terrain

was a multimedia installation curated as a result of two months of artistically cartographic methods to map the spirit of Genk, a small city in Flemish Belgium.

The exhibition consisted of Plexi Glass Sculptures titled “Fluid Obliques” and Diary scans of poems written throughout the two month research period tilted “If it is the Answer you seek”and “ गेंक and I”. The first Poem was written as a dialogue between the Halar and the city in his native language of Urdu. It
served as an initial motivation for formulating the observational drawing technique also exhibited titled “Ink Trails”.
